Overall Assessment: Competent
Overall Feedback:
PART A - Future delivery platforms
- Colleen this is much improved from your original design. Your imagery is also improved although it looks a little pixelated. Probably one crisp clean image of the iSmell would have been better on a white background. This would make the image pop out more.
- Better use of white space and you have created a better visual hierarchy.
- A suggestion would be to reduce the amount of text and present the main points.
PART B
- Disneyland was a good choice. You have successfully identified the features of a range of web environments such as the website, facebook, twitter, youtube.
- I found the information a little hard to read in it's current form and it needed to be presented on one page.
- Refer back to previous feedback over the page and your assessment document. In two column layouts make sure you have plenty of margin space between the columns to improve readability.
PART C
- As per previous feedback, please only include the question number or heading rather than the complete assessment guidelines.
- You needed to supply a navigation chart that demonstrates the hierarchy of pages.
- You have identified effective content and rated the sites usability. You have also made appropriate recommendations as to site improvement.
Your research skills are good - please ensure you read use the assessment handout as a checklist so you don't miss anything. You don't need to include the content of the assessment document in your submission. Leaving it out will give you a much cleaner, clearer document.
To help you with some design rules have a look at the folowing articles.
