And it brings with you The Elusive Owl (also known as the Tawny Frog-mouth).
Often they come out during the spring time and hoot, some time after sunset, and then again during the wee hours, like at about 2 or three in the morning.
The below photographs show how they really look (not really owl-like, only just a little bit).
However, the real sound is a hooting, repetitive sound like this:
