Answer
For 2D items
While I may email or upload the
images (online) via RGB format, ultimately, they will be printed in CYMK or
spot-printed format. This will have to
be specified to the printer I will be sending it to.
For instance, I will be sending
my stationery set to Vistaprint[1]. Acceptable file formats for this company
include:

For bleed size (on A4
documents): the format is as follows:

2517 x 3544 pixels
Document Trim Size

2480 x 3508 pixels
For business cards, this is Full Bleed Size

1110 x 685 pixels
Document Trim Size

1075 x 650 pixels
For envelopes, this is:
Full
Bleed Size

2927 x 2762 pixels
Document
Trim Size

2928 x 2762 pixels
And for postcards, this is:
Full
Bleed Size

1204 x 2517 pixels
Document
Trim Size

1169 x 2480 pixels
For 3D items
My 3D items (door sign, window
sign, cladding and picture) are a different story. Chances are I will be sending them to Skope
group or Kwik Copy[2]. I understand that Kwik Copy wants images with
a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch)[3].
